Sharicka is an aspiring engineer, product developer, and designer hoping to fundamentally change the medical device industry. She is a 4th-year Undergraduate student studying Bioengineering and Design Innovation at UC Berkeley. Within the field of Biomedical Engineering, she is specifically interested in microfluidics and MEMS technology. She is specifically interested in creating better diagnostic technology to support over-burdened medical delivery systems in India, her home country, and across the globe. As a Fung Fellow, Sharicka has designed healthcare solutions situated at the confluence of public policy, technology, and social impact. In the future, she hopes to explore careers in product development and research.
