Jennifer is the Chief Innovation and Learning Officer at the Fung Institute and leads experiential learning for our undergraduate and graduate programs. She previously served as the Director of the Fung Fellowship for Innovations and is a member of the founding team, launching the groundbreaking program in 2016. She has 15+ years of research, teaching and consulting experience in design and manufacturing with a focus on responsible innovation, design methods, and reducing environmental and human health impacts within the product life-cycle.
Jennifer holds a PhD and MS in mechanical engineering from University of California, Berkeley and BS in mechanical engineering from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. When she is not looking for ways to live more mindfully, she can be found testing new recipes, backpacking and mountain biking across California, or honing her DIY skills.
