Emma is studying Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, and Bioengineering with concentrations in Medical Imaging and Devices. She is passionate about the intersection of computer vision, machine learning, and accessible healthcare technology. She hopes to use these disciplines to minimize socioeconomic and geographical disparities in healthcare quality and accessibility, and is also interested in machine perception and augmentation of human behavior. Emma is currently researching computer vision algorithms for human motion prediction at BAIR, and machine learning emotion classification at UCSF, and hopes to pursue a PhD after graduation. In her spare time, she loves hiking, swimming, and sleeping.
