I am a writer and journalist interested in technology’s impacts on life and culture across the world, especially within marginalized communities. One of my primary focuses is on the human body, the ways we attempt to change and augment it, and bodily autonomy into the future. I also write about disability, food culture, climate change politics, art, and science. I hold a PhD in geography from UC Berkeley and am working on my first book on prosthetics and techno-optimism.
